Pain Is My Name

Pain
is my
name

Pain is my name, Apparently I’m in
your back end, so they all say
as they grimace. I suffer, they suffer,
we all suffer and cry out inside,
sometimes outside,
and if it’s real bad you’re given Painkillers
to rid you of me.
But I usually come back, I’m hard to subdue,
I am in every thing with a brain.
Consciousness won’t help you, it makes me much worse,
the animals all feel me but don’t bother to anticipate or dwell on me,
better for them, they are smarter.
Physical, emotional, psychological, even spiritual,
I come in many forms to terrorise people.
Embrace me to diminish me (actually, please don’t do that!)
sadomasochists know what I mean.
I am everywhere, some say life is what I am,
Pain is my name, you can feel me!
