Slide
is my
name

Slide is my name, I’m slippery, go down me,
or walk or climb up me so you can
slide back to the bottom like Sisyphus.
I get wet, I get hot, I get millions of bottoms,
I’m twirly or straight in numerous sizes, I come
in all sorts of colours, yippee!
I can be the centre of attention
at a water theme park,
gallons of fun, smooth bodies screaming!
I can be used as a tackle,
Soccer slash Football,
or a terrible analogy, metaphor,
all the way down to the bottom
(or we’ll choose to just let it slide)
Slide is my name,
Come Go Down Me!
Now time for my anti-dada moment that I share with all my named friends…

  Stairs is my name Stairs is my name, you’ll climb Up and Down me, I layer up to transport and transform you To the top of whatever, Point A to Point B, less likely to slip like my friend Hill. I’m mostly hard, built full of concrete, sometimes I am wood, sometimes I am cracked, decomposing. I rhyme with chairs, not sure why I wrote this, Heaven awaits when you reach me!   Collapse is my name Collapse is my name, Fall down, I am tired, Fall down is my brother, my sister. Dramatic!!, I am, SHOCKING, I can be, “Everything Must Fall” is mine and the world’s greatest motto. Financial markets crash and Collapse Just like ‘great’ nations, societies,k Economies go weak at the knees when they see me!
